Fireart Studio is looking for a talented Lead Node.js Developer to join our highly skilled Development Department and take charge of the Backend Team.

We are searching for a specialist with a demonstrable track record of successfully leading a development team (front/back or full-stack).

Hard Skills:

  • Strong technical background in backend technologies, such as node.js (5+ years).
  • Experience with building RESTful API with the express server.
  • Practical experience with Typescript.
  • Ability to create complicated logic flow based on business requirements.
  • Experience with Mongo/DynamoDB.
  • Expert understanding of software design principles and patterns and experience applying them.
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile SDLC.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Experience with AWS/Azure/Firebase.
  • Knowledge of MQ technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and applicable protocols: MQTT, AMQP, etc.
  • Experience with one or several multimedia communication protocols such as WebRTC, RTMP, RTSP, HLS, etc.
  • Experience working with Nest.js.
  • Experience with other backend technologies (will be a plus).
  • Good spoken English (B2-C1).

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented backend developers.
  • Technical Strategy: Develop and implement the technical strategy for backend development, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Set and maintain high code quality, performance, and security standards.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation and continuous improvement in backend development processes and technologies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend development, QA, and project management.
  • Project Management: Oversee project execution, ensuring meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Recruitment: Recruit, onboard, and train new team members as needed.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members for professional development.
  • Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
