GlitchD project was conceived by a team of engineers—veterans from tech giants like Meta (Facebook) and Amazon, with deep experience building tokenization protocols.

The team noticed that most so-called “gaming” blockchains in Web3 were just general-purpose platforms fitted for games, not truly built for them. They lacked the native architecture for low latency and ultra-high throughput that gaming requires. Glitchd wanted to deliver on the promise of Web3 by giving the full ownership of in-game assets to the players and specialized tools to developers.

To stand out from “imposter blockchains” and capture the attention of investors, their great idea required a powerful brand, website, and pitch deck.

As an early-stage concept, Glitchd faced the challenge of making a complex, technical vision tangible and exciting. They needed to secure investor buy-in and capture the imagination of their future audience of gamers and developers.

Our Approach

Our design team stepped in to act as the creative partner for Glitchd’s brand and visual identity. After studying the Web3 gaming market, competitors, users behavior, and design trends, we built a complete ecosystem of design assets to take the project from a conceptual idea to an investor-ready package. Our work focused on creating a high-energy, gamified blockchain user experience that felt authentic to its target audience.

Brand Identity & Strategy

We crafted a “glitch-core” visual identity. A high-energy color palette and custom logo with the name-representing element positioned Glitchd as a one-of-a-kind innovative force in Web3.

UI/UX Design for Dual Personas

We designed an intuitive interface for the web platform. After studying different customer journeys, we created distinct and seamless user flows for both game developers and players.

3D Assets & Motion Graphics

Unique 3D avatars and a dynamic motion language gave the brand a futuristic, premium feel and enhanced the user experience.

Investor Pitch Deck Creation

We consolidated the brand narrative, UI mockups, and strategic vision into a powerful pitch deck. Motion design helped highlight the deck’s focal points to showcase the project’s massive potential.

How We Built an Introduction for a Brand

Our primary task was to transform Glitchd's technical vision into a vivid picture that investors and users could believe in. This kind of creation demanded a multi-faceted design approach.

01 Branding in Web3 Gamer Aesthetic

We started by bringing together the brand elements that were screaming “gamers”. The name “Glitchd” itself inspired a visual identity rooted in the concept of a “glitch in the system”. This became the foundation for this blockchain branding case study.

The logo is a custom wordmark with a digital glitch effect. The same effect was used in the branded font. The color palette contrasts a deep, immersive black with vibrant neon greens and purples. This juxtaposition created a futuristic, high-energy atmosphere as opposed to the safe, corporate blues common in the crypto space. The overall aesthetics were designed to feel more like a competitive e-sport than a finances-related product.

02 Designing UI/UX for Gamers and Builders

After developing the customer journeys, we knew the platform had to appeal to two very different users: developers who needed powerful tools and gamers who wanted a seamless experience.

A card-based structure reduced cognitive load while using blockchain game design platform, making complex interactions feel effortless.

So the core of our Web3 gaming UX strategy was simplicity. We designed intuitive user paths for both audiences. For developers, it was a clean dashboard for managing resources and deploying smart contracts. For gamers, the gaming blockchain UI design focused on a visually rich marketplace. For the traded NFT assets we crafted a simple, clear wallet interface.

03 Using 3D and Mockups to Set the Vision

“Show, don’t tell” is the key to make the pitch truly compelling. Our designers created a suite of high-impact visual designs for gaming-first blockchain:

  • Stylized 3D avatars to represent the founding team in Web3 trend and adds personality to the project.
  • Conceptual mockups showing AAA titles like Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty “Powered by Glitchd” to demonstrate platform’s ultimate vision (these mockups helped investors visualize the scale and ambition of the project.)

With the client’s participation, the team ensured comprehensive approach to UI/UX for crypto projects while providing Glitchd with a pitch narrative and branding toolkit to enter the market.
